1This Ibur [impregnation], since they all find themselves together in one narrow place, etc.: For two foundational corrections were made in Ibur, by the power of the ascent of NHY to HGT: the first is that Malchut became included in Yesod; and the second is that Malchut became included in Tifferet, which is the discernment of Bina of Hassadim. Through her inclusion in Yesod — which is the discernment of narrowness, meaning that the illumination of the Yesod of Aba, which is narrow and long, is drawn there — Malchut received a very great sweetening, because of the completeness of the “long” found in it, which is the secret of the light that sustains Malchut, in the secret of a loan concealed within the vessels. (As above, page 828, Answer 28, the passage beginning, “and these are his words.”) Study it there well. And through her inclusion in Bina, which is Tifferet, the bottom Hey is bound and joined with the first Hey, which is the secret of the quality of mercy — for this is the main purpose of Ibur, to sweeten the quality of judgment with the quality of mercy, as above.
And this is what he says: “since they all find themselves together in one narrow place, etc. Also, the lights of Bina illuminate them” — that is, to indicate the two foundational corrections mentioned above: the first, the presence of the discernment of narrowness, which receives from Yesod; the second, the discernment of the illumination of Bina, which receives from Tifferet. And by the power of these two illuminations, she binds and unifies all the Sefirot with one another, in the secret of three lines, with a strong bond together.
