And this is their order: 1, El; 2, Rachum; 3, veChanun; 4 and 5, Erech Apayim (long-suffering). And therefore it is not said "Erech Af" but "Apayim" — two — as our sages said, for the righteous and for the wicked. And it is found that when He says "Erech" it is one correction, which is one lengthening, and when He says "Apayim" it is another correction.
