The general conclusion is that the two Mochin of Hochma and Bina of ZA are drops drawn from the two upper segments of Hesed and Gevura of Arich Anpin. They are their illumination and not their very selves; and within these drops is also clothed the illumination of the two upper segments of Netzah and Hod of Atik Yomin, hidden within the two upper segments of Hesed and Gevura of Arich Anpin, as above — and not their very selves. But Daat, the third brain of ZA, is from the two lower segments of Hesed and Gevura of Arich Anpin — their very selves and not their illumination, except that they are clothed in the Mochin of Aba and Ima. And within these two segments of Hesed and Gevura of Arich Anpin there also descended the two lower segments of Netzah and Hod of Atik Yomin, hidden within them — their very selves and not their illumination.

1The Hochma and Bina of ZA are drops drawn from the two upper joints of Hesed and Gevura of AA, and they are an illumination and not their very selves, etc., but the Daat, etc., is from the two lower joints of Hesed and Gevura of AA — they are their very selves and not their illumination. As is explained in the adjacent item; see there. However, that which he writes, that HB are the two upper joints of HG, the intention is to the two upper joints of each one of them: for the two joints of Hesed became the Hochma of Aba and his Bina; and likewise the two upper joints of Gevura became the Hochma of Ima and her Bina. And both of them are the discernment of the Roshim of AVI, and from there the inheritance [Achsanta] is drawn. And that which he writes, the two lower joints of HG that became the Daat, the intention is to one joint alone, namely the lower joint of the Hesed and the lower joint of the Gevura. For they remained in HGT and did not rise to the Roshim of AVI, as above; and therefore ZA takes their actual self, for they are his own discernment, since ZA is always the discernment of HGT, as is known.
