And the root of the soul of Mordechai was from that illumination, and therefore through him was the salvation of Israel at that time. And this is hinted in the very name Mordechai, of which the Sages said that it is the language of "mira dachya" — MR DKHY — which is the translation of "pure myrrh"; it is also called "passing myrrh".
